The output of yarn, cloth, clothing and chemical fiber of enterprises above designated size decreased by 6.3%, 4.7%, 1.5% and 0.4% respectively year on year. The average number of workers employed in the industry was 5.52 million, a decrease of 3.1% over the same period of the previous year.
