3, high strength: filament fiber strength is 2.6~5.7cn/dtex, high strength fiber is 8.0cn/dtex. Due to its low moisture absorption, its wet strength and dry strength are basically the same. The impact strength is 4 times that of nylon and 20 times that of viscose fiber.

4, corrosion resistance: resistant to bleach, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. Resistant to dilute alkali, not afraid of mold, but hot alkali can decompose. It also has strong acid and alkali resistance and UV resistance linearity.

5, poor moisture absorption: wear hot, easy to bring static electricity and dust, affecting beauty and comfort. However, it is easy to dry after washing, the wet strength is almost not reduced, there is no deformation, and it has good washable performance.

6, poor dyeing: but the color fastness is good, not easy to fade. Because there is no specific dyeing group on the polyester molecular chain, the polarity is small, the dyeing is difficult, and the dye molecules are not easy to enter the fiber.

7, good light resistance: light resistance is second only to acrylic fiber. Polyester fabric has good light resistance. In addition to being worse than acrylic, they have better sun fastness than natural fiber fabrics. In particular, the sun resistance behind the glass is very good, almost the same as that of acrylic fiber.

8, good elasticity: the elasticity is close to wool, when stretching 5% to 6%, it can almost be completely restored. Wrinkle resistance is more than other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle, and the dimensional stability is good.
